This sounds like the most logical explanation. I wonder if anyone has asked their Dr about this problem?

I have these too. I also have "Tonsil Stones". They are two totally different things.

I don't actually have tonsils, as they were removed when i was young. But a couple of years ago i was having the breathing trouble & constantly feeling like there was snot in my throat.. turned out to be GERD/Silent reflux burning a hole in my throat. 3 years later i've got the GERD under control... but the damage to my throat already was pretty extensive, and now i'm thinking the "tonsil stones" are coming from a scar-tissue pocket or something. Same thing as normal tonsil stones.. just not coming from my tonsils, but another crypt back there made of scar tissue.

I've been assuming the jelly balls were something to do with that.... someone in another thread also mentiond it could have something to do with yeast- 1 year ago i was diagnosed with a yeast infection in my throat (insert dirty joke here haha) bc my gut flora is all screwed up from the medicines & changing diet... so this also could have something to do with it.

I have been getting these balls since I was a little girl. They just slide up when they want to come out. Over the years if I change my eyeliner colour the colour in the clear ball is the same. It has something to do with our sinuses....I didn't smoke as a little girl unless it was from the passive smokes of my parents. I have been told it is nothing to worry about. I do often wonder if I could choke on them as they pop up as I have have a couple of times if I'm not thinking and the ball slips back down my throat.

I get them as well my very frequently about the size of a tapioca but clear I was told today to go see a ENT doctor have them do a scope down your throat I have very bad acid reflux second degree burn do you want to have problems swallowing sometime I like choking on meat and sometimes water definitely go see a ENT doctor.

I thought the same and tested local water supply. i did this live on YouTube channel. I now feel need to upload updated video testing the black flecked jelly mucous balls. I do not know if it coming from direct nano particles in air or from water contamination: I deionized and pulled particulates from water, tested the heavy metal residue and found large concentrations of barium, Like, Na, trace arsenic and trace mercury, lead n more, I do have a few videos on this topic...Hope it helps narrow down ailments and ceases panic innot knowing. My mucus jelly balls started last yr.

If it is of any help to anybody......I have had this condition for most of my life. MOSTLY occurs when I have been exposed to CATS...where cats have been or people that have cats or have been around them. Apparently they give off a protein in their fur , feaces, saliva etc... that causes an allergic reaction in some people. I also get them with DUST (dust mites?) and Horses?!
I avoid cats at all costs....but at work I come into contact with owners and shortly after the allergy kicks in.
