About two years ago I had a L.E.E.P procedure done. My husband and I are trying to have more kids. I was wondering if that procedure could have any effect on our future pregnancies? Sad

Hi! I completely understand your concern. I did some research and I found that LEEP is a safe and highly effective treatment for cervical dysplasia. How a future pregnancy will be affected by a LEEP depends on how much cervical tissue has been removed by the LEEP and whether LEEP or other cervical surgery has been previously performed. Keep in mind that there is about a 10% risk of pre-term delivery associated with LEEP. Most women do go on to have healthy, full term pregnancies, I hope you'll be one of them. Take care.
