Hi, im 20, i would like to know if i was stressing about my uni exams at the time of OVULATION. Could my ovulation be delayed and could it be skipped. Also is it possible to ovulate 2 week LATER so that means I would ovulate when I are meant to come on.. And therefore i could come on another 2 weeks later after that if you get me?

Yes, stress can affect your ovulation, which is controlled by the brain's messages to, and the activity of, the pituitary gland. It is ovulation that is delayed, rather than the period, as the period is governed by ovulation. Sometimes ovulation is skipped, but also occasionally a period does not follow ovulation, and a period can arrive without ovulation. However, normally, your luteal phase is pretty much fixed, so if you ovulate 10 days late your period would likely start 10 days late.

I hope this helps.
