Hi,

I recently ran out of the pill. I had sex while I was on the placebo, and got my period on time that month. However, this month I have not gotten my period. Instead, I have had bad cramps, lower achey back pain, migranes, breast tenderness, and have been extremely hungry, to the point where it wakes me from my sleep. I went for my yearly exam at the gyno's 2 weeks ago, and everything was normal. My period is already 3 days late. Should I be concerned about being pregnant, or is this just from coming off the pill? Please help.
My daughter just recently stopped birth control after 3 years of being on Yaz. She feels much better.
The late period could be a result from coming off the pill. She finally got hers, but it was about 6 days late. But she is also at the point where if she happens to get pregnant, it's ok. She is not trying, but if it happens, it happens.
Actually, the symptoms that your describing could be period symptoms. Because you have been on birth control in the past, you obviously have not had these feelings of pre menstral blahs. Hunger, sore breasts, headaches and cramping are all clues that your period may be on the way.
