Hey there. Just a quick question, I have been suffering with cramps from around the time I ovulate until the day my period ends for the past year. I have had my physical for the year and it came back normal, my dr. thought I had cervical polyps. I had severe pain on lower right side and was seen by a surgeon who thought it was my appendix, but it wasn't that either. I am on the Evra patch now and it seems to be doing OK. Just wanna know if there is anything wrong with me or if it is "normal".
It could be the patch that is giving you the pain.
i have been having the same problems. but my cramps are unbearable. sometimes i can barley stand up. and i start 2 weeks before my period actually come. i have been searching the internet to see if i can find answers and cant. if youu find out anything can youu plz let me know?? :-D
well ive been having problems for the first time ive been having cramps for two weeks they come and go but once they come its painfull and lately ive been having breast tenderness but my period its not soppose to start until one more week and no spotting im not sure what i have :-(
The only suggestion I can give if you're having pain so early before the actual period is to look into whether or not you might have Endometriosis. It's a menstrual disorder that affects about 10% of women to varying degrees: some may have endometrial tissue and have no pain, some women might be in agony from their cramps.
That said, I too have bad cramps for up to two weeks before my actual period and was just tested negative for Endo so it could be a number of things. If the pain is a serious concern, see your doctor and they can give you suggestions on what to do. Commonly you might be given different painkillers to try out, or be recommended the oral contraceptive if you're not on it as this can relieve menstrual pain.
Hope this has helped somewhat!
