Apparently some of crohn's disease's complications can include eye problems. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could fill me in on the details. What are the exact eye problems that can occur in crohn's disease patients, and how common are they? I understand that I am being a bit vague, but I would like as much info as possible.
Eye conditions are particularly frequent in people who have got undiagnosed Crohn's Disease and who are not taking any medications for this. Some of the more common ones are conjunctivitis, episcleritis, uveitis and iritis, as well as keratopathy, but there are others that can strike Crohn's Disease patients as well. They normally - and that means not always - go away once the Crohn's Disease is properly medicated, however.
