I had "Her Option" Cryoablation Therapy four days ago and am interested to hear of anyone elses experiences they've had with this procedure. Immediatly following my procedure, I went right home and right to bed. Slept off the prescription drugs and four hours later, I felt great! I had to take two advil the next day but have had no pain since. Still have the watery discharge; that's really annoying but hopefully won't last much longer. Also, my doctor said no intercourse until after my follow-up appointment in a week. I'm ashamed to say my husband and I got caught up in a moment and well....It won't happen again - I KNOW, it was stupid. But so far, I still feel fine. Now just hoping for no more periods, ever. :-D

I just had the Her Option Cryoablation 3 months ago. It was the best decision I took. I feel great!! No more heavy bleeding. I went down from 6 days to 3, and from more than 8 pads a day plus 8 tampons to 3 pads a day and 2 tampons. No more waking up at night to change. The watery discharge will last for at least 3 weeks. It's very annoying but it'll pass. I'd recommend the therapy to any woman that is suffering from heavy bleeding.
Do you know how old someone has to be to actually get this surgery. A friend of mine, her daughter has really heavy periods and it would help her a lot. I'd like to mention it but I don't want to bring it up if she'd be too young. Can you let me know?
This therapy is not for young women, only those finished having children but do not want to get a historectomy.
