My cycle is usually about 23 days. This month I was 3 days late. The first two days were very light spotting, just pink on the tissue. Days 3-4 were very heavy, dark red/black with horrible cramping, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, fatigue and headache. Day 5 cramping was less and tolerable but my blood literally looked like thick dark brown mud or feces. It was mixed with a quarter size piece of tissue with several other smaller maybe sunflower seed sized chunks of tissue. It tapered off on day six but was still brownish with chunks of tissue. Day 7 - 11. (Today) I'm still having bleeding, but spotting again, light pink on the tissue with minimal chunks of tissue and minimal cramping. I'm very worried as this is not normal for me. My bleeding usually only lasts 4-5 days and starts light then heavy and then nothing. I've never had this mud like consistency before. I am in a committed relationship and we do not use protection since we are ttc. I also take one 200 mg capsule of prometrium, intravaginaly every day starting on the 18th day of my cycle until I start to menstruate. Is this mud like blood normal?
