It sounds like chafing. I suggest you get a pair of Bandelettes. They work wonderfully in preventing chafing. If you buy a pair, be sure to measure your thighs first.

I had many of the same symptoms when I was a teenager, and I know how you feel. You may also think about how your periods have been. Don't be afraid to talk to your mom. She can help you make the appointment you need to get the help you need if it is Insulin Resistance or PCOS. The dark skin is so frustrating and can be embarrassing, I feel ya! I noticed as I lost some weight the color started to fade a little. But moisturize as much as you can it does help make the skin a little smoother. Trust me check sooner rather than later, I wish I had.

Hey gals! I've noticed all the responses are people agree they too have this issue and not really offering up any solutions. Well I too suffer from this and can share what I find helps! It doesn't completely fix the problem but definitely helps lighten it and make it as noticeable! I use two a liquid solution called "No Bump" which can be found online or I typically get it from Ulta, it can be found in the shaving section. The second it dark spot corrector, I typically use the Garnier brand but any brand will work they're all the same! This can be found at any drug store or Walmart and target. It's in the cosmetic section with face washes as it's typically used on the face but works for this too. So every night before bad I put some of the "No Bump" on a cotton swab and wipe down the dark area and afterwards I apply the dark spot corrector. Please please be patient!!! It's not gonna happen over night, you're going to have to be persistent and give it a few weeks before you notice a difference. But I promise if you stick with it you will notice a difference!!
