My name is Michelle, 17, not sexually active. For the past month or so I have noticed a dark, brownish discharge after any sort of manual stimulation-- even just washing up in the shower produces it. I know I had my period a week ago, and I know that dark spots tend to happen after them, but the discharge went to being clear (normal), then dark again (and I'm not due for my period for another 20+ days). I feel completely normal, no pain, no itching, no odor-- should I be worried?

I have read that it could possibly just be old blood. If you are not on birth control, well how I remembered it at least, then periods tend to be more irregular and unpredictable. It may have been just old blood finally passing through, but if it concerns you then definitely consult a doctor.
