I am at a loss for what type of birth control to use. I cannot take oral contraceptives because of migraines, cannot use the diaphragm due to frequent UTI's, have not had a child and am not "suitable" for an IUD, and do not want the risks associated with having my tubes tied.... My boyfriend and I use condoms and foam but are not happy with it and I still worry that I could get pregnant. What can I do? He was willing to get a vasectomy until his doctor was "concerned" about his family history of prostrate cancer and it's increased risks for those having a vasectomy. It seems like there is nothing SAFE but abstinence. Any advice?
