My bf and I tried to have sex...it is my first time, however, I did not bleed and he only entered the tip of his penis and a bit more...the thing is It hurts still, it hurted alot...I don't feel sore, I feel like the side of the inside of my vagina are just burning...we used lub though...but ya I was wondering if I was still a virgin or not, if that is normal?...and what to do next time so I dont have to stop him because it hurt wayyyyy too much and he wasnt even close to having half of his penis in..
thanks for anyone who replies lol :-)
Well your are not a virgin anymore. The burning is most likely from the lub. Whatt kind is it? It is totaly normal not to blead the first time. The hyman is right over your cervex, so he never reached it if he did not penatrate all the way. Plus yours could be broken alreasy, sometimes a fall will do it. About pain, just take it slow and try again.

The hymen is NOT right over the cervix, but at the opening to the vagina where it can easily be seen if present. In a virgin the hymen could have been previously broken in any one of several ways, such as "a bicycle accident" (this is why girl's bikes and boy's bikes are different). There can be some pain with first time intercourse, or none, depending on whether the hymen is completely intact, partially, or not at all. It can also depend on the bf being gentle, considerate and loving. Bleeding or not can depend mostly on the hymen being somewhat intact, or the 'time of the month.'  Some females have been known to convince a bf she is a virgin, when not, by having first sex with him during her period. A bit of residual pain following first time intercourse, or even bleeding, is not totally uncommon, but should not last for more than a day or so.
