This happened to me when I was a young teenager.. No one had an answer for me but I now believe that it was an early symptom of my Multiple Sclerosis.. This has not happened since that time. (I am 60 yrs old)

Same here! I had this when I was young only at night and the same terrifying dream would follow. A decade later my brother described the same exact thing that he too had as a child. Now my 6 year old son is getting it. When I told my mom she said she remembers having it as a young girl. So bizarre!!

I am now 64yo and have had these symptoms since about the same age (8yrs old) as others have described. It would be a few times a year or less. The TV would appear twice the distance as would the rest of the room. Tonight it came back after about 10-15 yrs of not having it happen. The ceiling was distant..the room appeared larger..I use to describe this symptom as "looking through the opposite side of binoculars ..but now I can best describe it as I was viewing things as if I was a small 1/4 scale of myself.

I also suffer from that but it lasts for less time because I can usually just shut my eyes, take deep breaths and it will be over in the morning

Ever since I was really little I've experienced this. It almost always happened at night, and usually when I had a fever. I had no clue what was going on and I had no way to explain what I was seeing, so I would just scream that my head was hurting and that everything looked wrong. I haven't experienced this in years, but I can still vividly remember how freaked out it made me. I felt like I was going insane. Objects seemed to change size, and get really far away. Sometimes things looked super big or really tiny. My vision was completely warped, and I had no way of putting into words what I had experienced. I recently discovered a psychological disorder called Alice In Wonderland Syndrome, and the symptoms seem to match up, but I haven't talked to a doctor. It's been so long, I found it very difficult to even describe my symptoms.

I have had the same thing for as far back as I can remember even now they are a common thing, like maybe every few nights, like tonight I had 1. light seems to help though but the minute I'm in darkness it can return I'll even dream about it the main dream is I'm trying to stopwhat seems to be a rolling monster truck wheel with what seems to be a toothpick I've never seen a doctor about it but maybe I should

Exact same thing for me. You described it perfectly. I also used to have the sensation of everything speeding up (people talking, especially), even though I am aware it’s not speeding up.
