Hi. My friend went to see a holistic therapist. She has been experiencing some problems with headaches and she went to seek help. He was constantly recommending her some drugs made on his own. Do all holistic therapists push drugs or are there some other approaches? I would appreciate all your replies.

Hi to you too. Holistic medicine means that it sees a patient as a whole organism, person, individual, etc. It does not treat only symptom or organ. It tries to find out the cause of the imbalance and to fix it. It shouldn’t be promoting just drugs. Holistic therapists can use some other methods. Reflexology, for instance, uses pressure on some special points on your feet. If your friend is not satisfied, she should change her therapist. I hope everything will be all right. Bye!
