I found out a year ago I have Sjogrens Syndrome because I had a lump ahead & below my right ear. I had surgery at that time to remove the lumps & it was also Lymphoma. I am experiencing lots of trouble with the Sjogrens especially my eyes . I am saddened by the fact that I now have to deal with both which is really tough to deal with physically & emotionally. If any of you reading this also have both could you please e-mail in & tell how to accept all this. I am a Christian so I know God has His Hand in all of this & has a plan for my life in it all but sometimes its hard to keep mt faith strong. Thanks for listening
Hi - sorry to hear things are a bit rough for you right now. With regard to Sjogrens, mine was diagnosed just about 2 years ago, but I have probably suffered from the symptoms for about 10 years. My eyes have been predominantly the worst, involving the disfunction of my tear duct in the early 90's when I had a glass tube surgically implanted as drainage. Since then, this has been removed and I have had wonderful surgery for sinus disease (result most probably of sjogrens) and had the tear duct repaired. There is always hope as the medical world advances. :-)
Anyway just thought I'd let you know that I use Celluvisc for my dry eyes and find it marvelous. It mostly does the trick. Single capsules with no preservatives - and I use mine once a day and put them in before I get up in the morning.
Try them out - they sure work for me.
Cheers
Barb
