It should be fine. Bio-oil is formulated with a mix of vitamins and plant oils and is advertised as being hypoallergenic and safe for use on sensitive skin. It's probably expensive for your use. K-Y Jelly is formulated for what you want to use it for, is at Wal-Mart, and is probably cheaper.

DO NOT USE IT INSIDE YOUR VAGINA.
It'd be best to not use it. If a product does not say it is ph balancing and/or has perfume smell, it will likely irritate. Sure, it may not burn or feel bad but you can easily get a yeast infection. Don't apply on vulva, bio-oil is made for external skin. It clearly states that on the bottle too that it is for external use. Please go to doctor if you have put it inside of your vagina, anus, eyes, mouth, ears, and/or nose. PLEASE read the bottle/box next time. If they don't inform you of any risks you have the right to sue, but bio oil clearly states, "For external use only."

Nope. Bottle says that it's for external use, that would be an easy way to get infections.

It's fine as long as you don't touch the vulva or insert it inside. Also, make sure you rub it in well so that it doesnt rub off to underwear and irritates vulva .Bio oil is a great option for darkness down there BTW, smartie!
