It is likely that your stress has led to a delayed (or missed) period. It is unlikely that 27 May were a fertile day, so you would be unlikely to get pregnant. However, a test should be reliable now.

Did you end up pregnant ?

Hi, I'm sorta going through a similar thing. My period is now a week late and has been pretty regular otherwise. I haven't been overly stressed so I don't think that could be the cause of being late so I'm really hoping that losing your virginity can in fact delay menstration. Please please offer any input you have--

I lost my virginity on June 23rd then my bf and I had sex every following day until the 30th. Every time we used a condom and we're very careful about it, but i'm not on birth control. He also pulled out before finishing every time and would cum afterward (no longer wearing the condom but not in/near my vagina).

My periods: My average cycle is about 32 days and last 6 periods are as follows:
June 8-15 (which was unusually long)
May 11-14
April 7-10
March 8-11
February 6-10
January 7-11

I expected to get my period on July 10th (7 days ago) but nothing. Do I have to take a pregnancy test? Do I have anything to worry about? Any idea how long it will take to come/if i'll just skip this one and expect it in August? Thanks!!

  • 07 Jan to 06 Feb = 30 days
  • 06 Feb to 08 Mar = 30 days
  • 08 Mar to 07 Apr = 30 days
  • 07 Apr to 11 May = 34 days
  • 11 May to 08 Jun = 28 days

That is an average of 30 days

  • 08 Jun + 30 days = 08 Jul

That would suggest ovulation on 24 Jun, the day after you lost your virginity.

It is possible that you ovulated late, but it is now 9 days later than I would have expected your period to start. I suggest you could take a test now.

You haven't indicated what other sexual activity took place, but anything that could have got sperm in your vagina (like manually) could lead to pregnancy.

Pleased to help. Take care. Your cycles may be irregular. That cycle was 39 days. It may take some time to settle back to about 30 days.

  • Could you explain exactly what happened?

You say "me and my bf had sex" and "we didnt use protection". but then you say "he cummed in me but he didnt even stick it in"

  1. What do you mean by "he didnt even stick it in"?
  2. Can you give your period start dates for this year?

I'll try to help, but you do need to give some more information so that I can understand your situation.

  1. What exactly has happened that has caused you to be scared?
  2. What concerns do you have about your period?
  3. What are the cultural and/or religious implications for you?
  4. Where are you from?

With a cycle of 28 days, if your last period started 23 June your next period would have been expected to start 21 July, and then 15 July would not likely have been a fertile day.

  1. How did you calculate period projected start as 20 July?
  2. Do your periods always start 28 days apart?
  3. What were your other period start dates this year (Jan-May)?
  4. What other sexual activities have you had since 26 June?
  5. Where are you from?

Some periods are 'delayed' for no apparent reason. In fact, it is more likely that ovulation has been delayed. But you have given no detail to go on.

  1. What were the dates of her last 6 period-starts?
  2. What date did you expect her next period to start?
  3. How did you calculate that date?
  4. What dates have you had sexual activity since her last period?
