I am quite curious about naturopathy and exploring alternatives forms of treatment, and I am hoping you can all help me gain a better understanding of it? Does naturopathy completely exclude surgery as treatment for diseases? And if not, what is naturopathy's stance on the issue? Thanks for your replies!
I don't think that there is any such thing as "one opinion" in naturopathy, just like in conventional medicine. Every doctor of naturopathy has their own school of thought and preferred method of dealing with things as they come up. Surgical solutions are minimized and avoided whenever possible, but definitely not totally ruled out.
Thank you for your information, that was very good to hear. So in what cases is it decided that surgery is necessary then? And when surgery does become necessary in the eyes of the naturopath, is the patient then referred to a normal medical doctor or what is the process? Again, thanks for any info and I am not being snarky; I am genuinely interested.
