So, folks ... at the end of 2007, I was getting REALLY tired of paying high methadone fees every day at a clinic .. when my doctor got his license to RX Suboxone. He got me off the Methadone without any real side affects right away by switching over. Nothing more than some jitters and such for less than a day when I first started. Here's the problem ...

The guy worked me up to .. literally .. 24 MG's a day. Three strips ... which is obviously a ridiculous dose now that I've done real research. I'm detoxing at this time .. but the GOOD NEWS is I had tapered back to around 8 MG's before stopping. Yeah .. not great still I know. Well, I will have that handled either today or Friday at the latest. So .. yeah Ill have my RX in hand if NEEDED to stop these horrific withdrawals. Not sure exactly how to handle this though.

When the pharmacist tried to play down these symptoms she told me it would be like having the flu for a few days. Yeah .. that's c**p. Not to mention the whole fact that the Flu has killed people for ages ... BUT yeah ... I had some hydrocodone syrup and a small number of Loritab 5's with the lower 325 MG tylenol dose that I had no idea were still here. That's made the symptoms LESS severe than they started out being. However, this is only a short term band aid on something than could be a MUCH longer lasting issue. Hell, my stomach has bothered me for the last two days from the Loritabs and syrup being put on a stomach that can't really hold down much food.

Going into any sort of inpatient detox facility is not an option by the way. Looking for some input on how to make this as tolerable as I can given what I have. So ...

Seven Loritab 5's remaining .. and an RX that will be able to get filled either today or Friday .. of way too many Suboxone 8 MG's than any sane doctor would give anyone. How do I handle it?

BTW .. I'm a 28 year old guy with some rather extensive opiate and .. everything else pretty much use .. in the past. However, absolutely no desire or interest in doing any of this garbage again. Would gladly throw these pills in the trash right now if it wouldn't have me in the bed for no telling how long. Thought that might be useful .. heh.
