little more info: this happened to me last year around the same time, lotion doesn't seem to have a lasting effect. chapstick only seems to worsen the problem and have since stopped using it. maybe if i drink more water?

Do you breath through you mouth?
They are a few things that give you dry lips.
Iget sore dry lips more in the winter. Being out in the cold makes it worse.
I use vaseline. Its just a grease with no smells added to it.
I dont like it, but my daugher uses lip glosses to keep her lips moist

i do currently have a cold, but its not the dry lips that concern me. its the peeling that's going on underneath my lips.
