I just want to know how much weigh of a dub bell a beginner and intermediate should use if doing arm exercise?

Sorry for late reposonse. I somehow missed your post ...

For a beginner - I would say start with 1,5 kg to 2 kg each dumbbell.

For legs you could double that weight.

I usually just use dumb bells with arm exercises, but you can also save money and use things around the house. For instance, you can use a can of vegetables you have in the cupboard for a one pound weight. You may also use a milk jug and fill it to the desire amount to weigh, like 3, 5, or 7 pounds. You can start small and start adding more liquid as you build up endurance. You can use be creative and use whatever you wish. Or if you like to buy the dumb bells anyway, you can get them in 1 through 3 pounds to start with. Some exercises will be easier than others so the range in weight can accommodate this.
