I have had this problem now for some time,I went to the ear dr because my left ear sounded pluged up and I have a noise in it that can only be described as white noise,I do have a tube in it,he told me the tube is not pluged so they did a MRI that came back negative,every once in awhile I also feel a sharp pain right at the entrance of my ear what could this mean and also can they tell by doing a MRI if I have nerve damage in the ear,I also had high blood pressure and thought maybe this was causing the problem but my blood pressure is under control now and I still have the noise...
