Hi my girlfriend and I had sex last Thursday . Two days later she said she had abdominal cramps. She said there mild cramps kind of like the ones she gets during her period.However her period dosent start for about two more weeks. Is it possible that the cramps are symptoms of pregnancy? Or is to early to tell? She dosent have any other symptoms of pregnancy at all. She said the cramps come an go throughout the day. Also she went on a run today and came back in tears saying the cramps really started to hurt while running and said it became a sharper pain. The pain quickly went away tho. Please help is this to early to be cramping from pregnancy or is two days after normal time?
Two weeks before a period is due is the time at which someone would usually get pregnant if they get pregnant. It is highly unusual to experience early signs of being pregnant two days after conception, and something like abdominal cramps could be due to pretty much anything, from stress to gas, to a stomach bug, etc.
I do not think it is likely she is pregnant, but she should take a test if she missed her period. Next time keep in mind that any unprotected sex can lead to pregnancy and get some condoms, or discuss the pill or something.
