What would be the easiest way to avoid food with flavor? I have just returned from the doctor with a diagnosed flavor allergy. And I have to say that I would live with this nauseous feeling for who knows how long until a friend told me to do the allergen test. So, what are my options now?
Not too many, I suppose. Since you know what flavors you have to avoid, you just have to hope that labels on food will show all ingredients included and if there are those that will harm you, avoid it. And if it does not say anything but you are not sure, avoid it also, nausea today might be an allergic shock tomorrow and that is something you do not want to experience.
