children aged 10-13 besides having a detailed exercise program that needs to include both warm-up and cool down exercises together with higher intensity exercises like push ups, weight lifting and situps, also need a good nutritional plan to provide them enough nutrients that will help in building muscles.
Generally, 2-3 times per week of an hour of complete exercise program is considered very desirable for children this age, and this program should include, like I said, warm-up and stretching exercises as well.
