How long did it end up lasting? I'm going into week 3 and I can't wait for it to be gone!

No tampons allowed. But panty liners are mostly sufficient.

Hello, how did you make out? I just had the ablation about 10 days ago and am having the watery discharge. Starting to worry. Thanks

I had a hysteroscopy, polypectomy, D&C, and Novasure Ablation on 10/27/17. I had cramping the first 2 days and only slight spotting. I did have a little watery discharge for a few days, but that is all. About four days after, I was a little more busy and doing more things such as driving out and running errands with the kids. I did notice that I was more achy in the midsection after doing all of that. So I probably overdid it. A week after the procedure, I'm not having any discharge or spotting at all. I do feel a little bloated, but am able to do low impact aerobics with no problems. I'm feeling good!

I had the novasure ablation last Monday (one week ago) pain was unbelievable afterwards but the next day ok. I'm getting a dragging down feeling and like the only way I can describe watery blood and what looks like the gooey stuff that comes out when you ovulate. My period is due on 5/6th Feb so we will see how painful and heavy it is or if this has actually worked.

First off, your husband is the worst. I married the right man....It's your body, so you have to make the decision to have the procedure done. With any surgery, there is going to be recovery time. Getting old is not for the weak. Good luck to you.

I had the novasure ablation done only 2 weeks ago so it’s still early days. After the procedure I was in a lot of pain all day and the next few days after. I had light bleeding for a few days. After a few days the bleeding stopped and I now have a lot of extremely watery discharge. I just floods out and I feel like I’ve wet myself. I did think at first I was wetting myself. My gynae assessed this and it is in fact watery discharge which I’m led to believe could last for weeks if not months. I’m now not sure that the ablation was the right thing to do.
