okay, so i recently started taking erthromycin for my acne. it was prescribed from a doctor. & well the first day i took it i had diarrhea, & that was normal. but lately i just dont want to eat. & ive constantly started to feel nauseated & so i didnt take it today. but i still feel nausea. what should i do?
As all antibiotics, Erythromicin also in most cases causes side effects like diarrhea, stomach discomfort and nausea. Those effects should go away once you stop taking Erythromycin. How much were you prescribed to take? Antibiotics cause side effects more often when you take some other medications at the same time. If the nausea doesn’t stop you will need to see your doctor, in most cases that should be completely reversible side effect. Since you stopped taking it now, nausea should go away.
