Hi everyone,
I know there are more symptoms of Diabetes than excessive thirst, and it could be something else anyway. I'll have a drink, and I'll be thirsty and need another drink virtually straight away. I've not idea how many drinks I go through in a day, but it's alot.
My brother had to have his measles jab today to, and he said to the nurse, watch out for her, she hates needles. I don't hate them to the point where I won't have an injection, I can put up with them, haha. But he told her he knew that from when my mum was testing my blood sugar on her monitor a few days ago. I told the nurse, oh, she was only testing it out seen as I keep complaining of being thirsty all the time. The nurse asked what my blood sugar level was, and I said 5.4. So that's fine. The nurse asked me if my mum's diabetic, and I said yep, and grandma is, and also my great great aunty is. She said if I keep having problems with it, go back.
I don't wanna go back if it's nothing though. Everytime my mum's tested my blood sugar, it's been fine. I just feel thirsty all the time. So, if my blood sugar is fine - I can't have diabetes can I?
