We really don’t know how long they’ve been sitting in warehouses somewhere. I just used two year old expired milk of magnesia - no problem and it worked. I’d just use your judgment. Expiration dates are just a way for companies to prevent being sued.
Eleven months you say? It might even be good because milk of magnesia is more or less a mineral solution.
Just check the closing lid and if it is not damaged, I think you are good to try it out.
