Hi I have had the same problem and after 4 years I had it removed there was no solution to deal with it and I must tel you the op was a breeze but the pain after is hectic. So you must be prepared for it, but I am sure once everything has settled it's smooth sailing from then.

You can always try applying hemorrhoid cream, or witch hazel wipes, or horse chestnut ointment to see if it helps if you really want leave surgery to the last resort.

alexix 101 is ABSOLUTELY CORRECT!!! I have had internal and external hemorrhoids for over 30 years and have used this technique to control them. The most important thing is to soak a gauze pad or cotton ball with witch hazel and place it at the opening of the anus and letting it stay there for at least 5 minutes. It is a great astringent and will shrink the roid. Also, the most useful product for healing roids and relieving the itch is BORIC ACID OINTMENT which was the most useful ingredient in Preparation H but was removed from it years ago as well as not being allowed to be sold as a simple USP ointment over the counter. The rationale for taking Boric Acid ointment off the market was ridiculous, if you happen to be sensitive to it just stop using it. BUT IT WORKS!!! Thankfully, you can still buy it over the internet. It is odorless and colorless. For internal roids, you can take a slim, plastic tampon and squirt witch hazel inside and insert it into the rectum and leave for long periods to shrink and soothe the internal roids.

I have no idea; how you went on with hemmorhoids for 30years. Did you contract it on and off during a 30year period or was it permanent? I had external hemorrhoids for a few days and it was hell on earth. The physical pain was not the most tormenting part of the ordeal. The real torments were rather mental. Sometimes the itching, scratching and irritation will spike then suddenly stop. I would have a few moments of respite. Then without warning, the irritations would return with vengeful force. Part of the mental torture was due to the fact that, I couldn’t predict when the itching would start or stop. In the early stages, when I discovered it was hemorrhoids, I tried to get permission to consult a doctor. I was in a boarding school at the time. And you simply didn’t just get up and walk out of the campus because you wanted to see a doctor. The nurse who had to grant me permission to go out was also my teacher. I still can’t believe she refused to grant me permission. She thought I had simply invented a lame excuse to ditch class. She wanted to look up my ass and I told her she could “go to hell!” Boy! That got me suspended for week. I profited from the suspension to see a GP who prescribed me some suppositories. They worked and the symptoms were over in a few days. That was a while back. These days, there are more effective and efficient remedies for hemorrhoids.Venapro is an all natural home remedy composed of horse chestnut, witch hazel, arnica, stone root, st. Mary’s Thistle, fluoride of lime, muriatic acid and krameria’mapato.

Venapro is an oral remedy. There are no ointments to be applied on the hemorrhoids. You should try it out. Venapro brings relief in about 48hours.

I have the banding on tomorrow. I have been dealing with this issue for some yrs now with bleeding but the pain this time has been unbearable. I was admitted to the hospital last week for all the bleeding and pain. I was told by the doctor that it was external and would need surgery. After doing my research and hearing all the painful surgery about the banding. Im am scared to death. But I cant tk the pain any longer. I have been dealing with consistent pain and major bleeding for the past four weeks. Any presure passing gas or urinating will cause me to bleed as if I was on a period. So wish me luck and a speedy recovery.

#1 opiates are the wrong way to go they will make you constipated and give you razor blade sh**s.

When there is throbbing pain and it won't go back inside to use hydrocortisone Sometimes this works instantly to shrink them back inside but if used too often it can make the area raw and irritated. you doctor can also give you hydrocortisone suppository that will help greatly!

The only other thing that seems to work really well is to keep the area lubed up with just a "little" Petroleum jelly. This helps it not feel so ridged when walking around. Also if you're bleeding it can stop the bleeding.. you can also use carmex lip balm.

After each bowel movement wash your ass off in the sink or tub or shower with warm water, and then apply some witch hazel. You should also use witch hazel every so often throughout the day even if you don't use the bathroom. If it's leaking puss and nonsense this helps the most to shrink and stop itchy irritation.

ICE!!!!! why i never see anyone bring this up use some ice put an ice pack on the area for 15min 2-3 times a day.

IF you sit a lot at work or driving you should get a pillow that relieves lower back stress and sit straight up like a white person stereotype. laying back is comfortable for your spine but it's hell on your ass. DOn't fidget or scrunch your as****e all day just relax and it will heal.
