Hello everybody, it all started with redness with no pain around the inner thighs between the legs and the sack, then severe itching and burning, then appeared very small red pimples, then the pimples began to grow and they appear to be containing fluid-like substance. Now the area is extremely burning and I'm finding it very difficult to even walk in my home.
I have used creams like fucidin, fucicort, daktacort, and kenacomb and I have yet to see any improvement.
I never had any sexual contact before. Also I shower twice daily.
I'm not thinking of seeing dermatologists because where I live they're known to hook up their patients for long periods of time for more money.
Age: 21
any help is very much appreciated

Hello! How long have you had this problem? It sounds like foliculitis to me. Foliculitis is an inflammation of the hair follicle most likely by bacterial infection. Foliculits is usually self-resolving and it should go away on its own in a few days time (or a week).
However, there is a more persistent kind of foliculits infection caused by bacteria that may be more resistant and need antibiotics to clear the infection. These bacteria are called pseudomonas and are acquired by swimming in public pools, hotel showers, saunas, or from the loofah sponges. If the rash is not going away in a week time, you could try applying some vinegar to the area by applying pressure for 15 minutes a few times a day, you could try silver sulfadiazine cream two times a day or may even need ciprofloxacin if it is a resistant type.
A GP could diagnose this as well as prescribe you with an antibiotic to get rid of it faster.
