im only a 17yr old girl and it started last august.... first my vision starts going, then i feel numb and start breaking into a severe sweat... like its actually gross... im usually always cold.. i have almost refrigerater temp. hands on daily basis. anyways.. i feel it coming and im able to let my boyfriend know its happening again... but the first time it happened, he said i took a step back and fell to the ground, my eyes rolled back nd i was shaking.. he called my name many times but i only heard it once.. when i came to... but most recently, i was awake when all this happened... i felt my body shaking and was fighting for my eye sight... this was the only tim i didnt pass out.. however, my bf said my eyes still rolled back... the only thing that seemed to prevent me passing out was talking to him and staying foccused... if i didnt, i would have fallin off my chair.. oh and drinking water...which is something i dont usually drink... but at that moment i chuggd back a full bottle in less than 45 seconds.... i also dont eat alot because i get easily full or my stomach feels as though im going to throw up.. oh yeah, it also happened to me when i was by myself at mcdonalds... and that time, i was focusing on he tv and drank cold frutopia.. i was soo scared i wasnt going to push through... my boyfriend is really worried about me... but theres so many things beyond just one reason this is happening... i just dont know which... and my boyfriend is the only one who knows about this..

I had numbnes in my shoulderblade and fingers and toes and blamed it on circulationproblems. The gym did not help, so i started taking 1000 mcg of vita b- 12 daily and my numbness went away.

my brother's neurologist tried to say he just had anxiety as well, but after going to other doctors we found out he has postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) and not many doctors recognize it. It is an autonomic nervous system disorder and now researchers are categorizing it as an auto-immune disorder as well. More research needs to be done, but mention this to your doctor and you believe you have the same symptoms as POTS and want to see a specialist.

beta blockers will lower your blood pressure. If it is a migraine issue, beta blockers will help, however if it is a low blood pressure issue, it will not

Your symptoms sounds like a Neurocardiogenic syncope.... it usually happens when you're expose to hot, such a hot shower... sun ect.. also if you're standing for a long periods of time. Do some research on the Neurocardiogenic syncope and you'll see. Good luck.

Hi when i read your post I felt like I was reading something that I had written. I have had countless blood tests MRI's EMG test your normal except for the EMG I have carpal tunnel I am hypothyroid but they're telling me that it is not related to my symptoms the neurologist said my symptoms are psychosomatic and I should see a psychiatrist that was the last day I saw him I found a new neurologist that sent me for more tests all normal except for the two I mentioned I am frustrated every day. I have read so many articles from countless people who have our same symptoms. My doctors are giving me different medications that I refuse to take I want a diagnosis first and then I will take the appropriate medication . Are you taking any medication and if so this is helping relieve the symptoms?

This could be because of stress but an unsure, Seems like stress would cause such things as it's only at work, Or lack of oxygen, Try taking multiple air breaks during your day and see if things change :)

I also have these problems but I have no idea why, I'm 13 I've been perfectly healthy besides for the last few years, have never done drugs (prescription or not) and have had this for the last year or 2 even though I take iron vitimens every day so I don't think it's low blood pressure. I have a prescription of -1 to -.5 and they said it was because of eye strain but glasses don't seem to help. I play several sports including hockey and football but I dont recall getting hit in the head very hard. The main thing that causes this for me is when ever I try to concentrate, the other day I was just reading a book then stood up and passed out for a good 10 seconds. How it usually happens for me is when I stand up after like I said concentrating on something then my legs give out, I get a severe head ache and my vision blurs until I pass out while my entire body goes numb for long after the duration of passing out. Lately I've been trying to fight passing out with little success and trying to keep my conciousness only makes the head ache worse. I'm not sure if this is related to the other symptoms but I've also developed coughing fits that make me throw up from coughing so much and then later pass out another time.

I feel the same ways as the rest of you all. Had all types of tests done, from X-rays, cat scan, ultra sounds, blood work, cardioid Doppler tests, all come back clean. Never thought of Vietminh b 12 would cause this. The feeling is so terrible that I just stay in bed and try to sleep it off till I feel better. I eat a good heart heathy diet. Guess dr did not check my b12, . It hope this will be my trouble and I am seeing my regular dr asap, to get my b12 checked and hope it is that and get my self back to being my self and not 1/2 dead
