Hi,
I am a 57 year old woman who seems to be falling down a lot. In the past 4-5 years, I have fell at least 6-8 times and broken 2 bones so far. Is there something that could be causing this to happen? I am also diabetic - type II and I control with meds and diet. I am overweight by about 60 pounds.

It depends if you feel faint before falling. If you do it`s probably got to do with your blood pressure, diabetics always have to watch their circulation. Also if you are tall or overweight, when you stand your blood takes longer to move around your body - when people say `head rush`that is the blood didn`t make it there yet :-) Dependin on what lead you to fall, it is hard to answer. Was it getting up too fast, was it before you ate, or perhaps menopause symptoms. You need to go to the Dr. if this continues, if you can piece it all together and say `that`s why...`then it can give you a little piece of mind. I wish you health and good luck.
