For the past week, my vagina has been extremely itchy and red (probably from scratching) and for the past few days it feels like I have paper cuts around my vaginal opening and now my anus also. I'm also red down there, but again it could from scratching and I'm swollen.
I would be certain it's a yeast infection if I had an odor or discharge, but I don't. Although I feel "tight" as if it were a yeast infection. I used a Monistat 1 day treatment 3 days ago with no improvement. My only other symptom is dark, strong smelling urine and abdominal pains.
The paper.cut feeling is gone. Now Im having creamy white discharge, no smell. Maybe the Monistat 1 treatment coming out? My abdominal pains are not as bad, but my urine is still dark and has a strong smell...
I have the same symptoms. My doctor told me it was a yeast infection and put me on nystatin triamcinolone ointment. It work after 24 hrs but your not suppose to use it after 12 days. Then the symptoms came back. I had a hysterectomy 2 yrs ago but I don't know how that fits in. I am very dry and post menopause. I can't stand sex it hurts. It also burns when I urinate. Any help out there??
