the operation is called a circumcision. no the operation isnt painful itseelf. what you will find is that the head of your penis will be very sensitive for sometime afterwards. it gets painful when it touches something like your underwear. in time it will lose that sensitivity and will be ok. any reason why you want to get circumcised?

Jack yes because when I put on a condom it is very complex and hard I think it would just be easy to get the circumdsion.

i was done at birth myself. alot of guys who have their foreskin is very happy with it, but you are old enough to make your own decision on that. just make sure you are informed of everything first. have you started puberty yet? how big is your penis?

sometime back i was wondering how a circumcision was done. i did a search for videos on it on google. thats what i suggest you do. youtube had some. one older guy had took pics of his after the operration for several days afterwards which shows the healing process. that would be good info for you so you would know what you could expect.

Either it is natural, (im 14, and same problem) or a skin bridge, whichwon't go away, really, so if it is a skin bridge, and if you have problems with it, go to the doctor, and get it removed (not circumcision.) it's quick and easy, generically a painless procedure if done right, or if you are a guy whom adores piercings, get it pierced, otherwise, just wait, and if you retract far enough, it won't rip, but it will hurt a lot.

I had this problem too and from the age of seven my parents did this seperation bit by bit (unsure why)!! and each week or so to allow the discomfort to go befoe the next few millimeters were seperated.

It is very common and after doing some research on the www I have found out that it is sometimes known as the male hymen!! which would seperate at first sex and cause discomfort...

Good luck.

I'm 14 and I literally have a piece of skin attached to my foreskin, making it impossible to pull my foreskin completely back. I'm to embarresed to tell my parents this, is there any way of cutting the skin myself?
Thanks

Hi guys! The piece of skin is called a frenulum - look in a mirror pull up your tongue, see the piece of skin underneath that too is a frenulum. The frenulum is a needed piece of skin - what happens it after an erection it pulls back the skin over the top of the head of the penis. When you start doing this - more and more throughout puberty - it doesn't become a problem. DONT force it - or it will tear and it HURTS! Just keep the area clean, and if you are masturbating and need to pull the foreskin back, you need to do it SLOWLY and with lubrication and warmth - you should not attempt to tear it or cut it (could cause HUGE problems) - just know it's there for a reason. After you have finished with puberty - 21is IF it hinders you or is too tight to fully pull the foreskin back, then you just see an urologist for them to do a snip. It's NORMAL at your ages, so just hang in there, be gentle, and it WILL ease up and enable you to do what you need to do! Hope this helps?!

One thing REALLY concerns me with your statement honey! That SHE wants you to go all the way! What about you? Just as I say to girls I will say to you, NEVER do something you aren't comfortable with. That said IF you are READY to have sex, you HAVE to wear a condom - NEVER EVER EVER NOT wear a condom! All it takes is 1 sperm - which could even happen with precum - and you are a dad! So wearing a condom will protect the Frenulum, just keep it nice and clean and ALWAYS wear a condom - NO CONDOM NO SEX! OK? Your frenulum MIGHT tear or might not - just like a girls hymen. But being protected keeps it "safe" and you both "safe" OK?
