in june or july i has a 4 hour gastric emptying scan done for constant nausea, they found that i had gastroparesis. after trying many different medications for it which none seemed to help and i still felt the same if not worse i went back last week for another gastric emptying scan and it showed that although i still have delayed gastric emptying my numbers improved. how or why did they improve if i still feel so horrible?
Hi. I am sorry to hear you are going through this. I too have gastroparesis. I live in Oklahoma and after seeing every kind of Specialist and in and out of the hospital so many times my Doctor's Nurse told me about a Doctor in Kansas who specializes in GI Motility. I was sick for months, had constant nausea and lost many pounds, my hair and I thought I was losing my mind because no Doctor could find anything wrong with me. I was a healthy 40 year old female. I tried every kind of medicine there is.
