Little girls invariably hate their older brother, who bullies & belittles them at every opportunity and seems invincible with his greater size & strength. Therefore they are usually delighted to discover that he has, between his legs, a place of such awkward vulnerability. That the delicate and sensitive glands that hang there can be attacked so easily using strikes or squeezes causing such unfathomable agony, is fascinating to them. Inevitably they relish the shift of power such knowledge brings about and take every opportunity to demonstrate their new-found superiority over their former oppressor.
I was a younger sister to a bullying older brother and I still, 30 years on, vividly recall my feelings of empowerment and cruel pleasure at seeing him doubled up in agony after a swift kick, or hearing him beg for mercy as I grabbed & squeezed one of his oh-so-tender testicles!
