I would like to get some independent information about the consequences of thyroid removal in Graves' disease. Surely, this will leave life long consequences, yet my doctor is trying to assure me that this is now the way to go. Are there any people who decided to go through thyroid removal? What is life like now?
What r these life long consequences? I am 25 anr have graves and am getting thyroid removed the 17TH i am so nervious!
