Hi all. I’m 22 years old female. I have just one easy and short question. I have been several times to my gyno so far. Few times due to health problems and few times just to control my health. My gyno recommended me to visit him more often, on regular basis, to check my health. So, my question is: how often do you have your gynocologis visits?? Do you all have visits on regular basis for control purposes, or you go just when you feel ill?? Thanks
I visit my gyno at least twice a year. I think that it is very good to have your health checked from time to time. Actually, many diseases in their early stages can be discovered and therefore properly treated. Another benefit is next: your gyno will get to know you and your health better so if you get ill in the future, he will know more about you because of this background knowledge and will be able to precisely decide what meds to prescribe you... Anyway, I think that you should visit your gyno from time to time even if you’re not ill... Hope this helps.
