Had bladder cancer so a scan was done and they found an IPMN in my Pancreas, this is an Introductal Papillary mucinous neoplasm, the main canal's liquid should be clear like water but mine was mucinous and whitish, this is a precursor to cancer of the pancreas. They removed the Pancreas, spleen, Duodenum, gall bladder,3/4 of the stomach in a 10 hour operation. I was 75 years old then. I am from Montreal,Canada
Stayed in hospital for 11 days, everything went well and after a couple of months rehab at home I was back in shape to handle the Bladder cancer which required 7 operations TURBT . I had so far 50 BCG treatments in 4 years and it looks like I have beaten this beast but there are still some cancer cells in the bladder? I am diabetic without a pump but maintain the sugar levels pretty good.
Recently I am having more problems to digest my food, I take 2 Creon B capsules at every meal but am always having a lot of gas. I don't know if anyone else has gone thru this but I would appreciate if anyone else has this digestion problem to let me know.
