My doctor just did a lipo on my stomach and transplant that extra fat to my buttocks. Yet I see that after a week my stomach looks about the same, except for the pain and the bruises. My butt looks a bit better than before but definitely is not what I expected for the price.

Will my stomach and waist look thinner after the swelling goes away or I should be seeing results after a week of the surgery?
Please help.

You will begin to notice a difference in your silhouette or wherever you had the procedure after the swelling subsides. It is advisable to take before-and-after photos of yourself so that you can fully appreciate the results. Just don't start putting on your "skinny clothes" or pants you were wearing right before surgery because you will be swollen and things may be tight until you heal. It takes some time to heal too so be patient. Most doctors say two to four weeks before full result is in effect and others say eight to twelve weeks. Patience is key and not worrying as that can have an effect on the swelling process. Let your body just heal, keep your hopes up, and expectantly wait the amazing results.

I just recently had Lipo on my abdomen as well. I see that there was fat removed, but not entirely happy with what I am seeing.
I know everyone says they are swollen and bruised, but I didnt have much bruising, and I don't feel swollen...do you think the appearance of my stomach will change?
