I had a parietex mesh repair for my rectocele 2 years ago, and my recovery has been fraught with severe pelvic/leg pain, difficulty walking and constipation. My surgeon has denied I have any problem related to the mesh, but since I has been recently discovered that the lower end of my colon is not working at all, I fear a colon bag may be coming my way!
