Hi,i had the same problem when i was 15, it has stopped for 7 month i was so exited the fact that i wasn't wearing pad and the hustle you go through period time, i kept it for my self, but i realised after 7 month that could be a serious problem and i have to do something about it,then i spoken to my family, i saw a doctor, i got examine, scan, blood test then doctor said it getting blocked by little lambs that sometimes you get during periods,i been prescribed a tablet the same as contraception to make my period come again :),and it did after a month or so, still my period is not regular but i guess its natural.and to mention this i wasn't sexually active :).hope this helpful for anyone ending up this page. Bless.

Amenorrhea is considered a “menstrual condition”. There are 2 types of amenorrhea: primary and secondary.
Primary amenorrhea is the term used when a young woman has never had a period. Most girls get their periods between 9 and 15 years old or about 2 to 3 years after they start their breast development.
Secondary amenorrhea is a term used when a young woman has had a period before, but stops having them. For example, your periods were regular for the first 2 years after you started having them, and now they don’t come at all. Or you only have 2 or 3 periods a year and sometimes 6 months goes by without a period.

I know how u feel. I'm 32 and I know for a fact that I can't have anymore kids. So I know that I'm not pregnant. I went 7 months without a period. I was spotting a lil bit during those months. Now it's full blown period. I wish this c**p would go away for ever.
Hi, I'm 12 and I stopped coming on my period for about 7 months and I've just come on but I don't know why I stopped, ii mean I didn't gain or lose weight then but after a while I started to put on weight and right now I'm trying to control what I eat, will my periods be odd? or will it be normal? I mean I've had blood tests and they are all good. I get a few stomach cramps here and there. Will having fruit and veg help? would having small portions of dinner help? will eat nuts help? I can't help but have a little snack sometimes but it's normally ice cream that is my only junk. I don't really have chocolates, sweets, drinks or crisp, what caused my period to stop that long?
Have dates- are really good as it has loads of health benefits and helps people have regular periods, nuts, loads of water and eat healthy but have snacks here and there. Don't worry to much, your emotions and hormones changes.
I'm 15 and I haven't gotten my period in 7 months as well and kind you I'm not sexually active at all... i really don't know what to do :( I am pretty scared to see a doctor about it.. and my cramps just started all of a sudden at 3am in the morning when I woke up... and is it bad that when I pee it hurts sometimes?? I don't know but I'm really scared and I'm hoping m you can help me ;/
this is a late reply, but i'm also sort of in the same boat! I've had irregular periods for a while but now they're extremely irregular. I had a period October 2016, then May 2017 (3 months ago) ...and thats it. I'm not sexually active so there's no chance of pregnancy.
