Hi, i'm a 14 year old male and was wondering about something. I am not circumsised and when erected i cannot push the skin behind the head of the penis. I've heard somewhere that you got to stretch it back gradually and ive been doing this and I think I see some progress. I was just wondering whats going on with it, is it common?
You imply that you can retract fully when not erect, so it sounds like a mild case of phimosis. You can try retracting before you get an erection. That way, the increase in penis size from the erection will help stretch the tight foreskin from the inside out, which is the very best way to get it looser. You can also try keeping it retracted for longer periods, if you want to hasten this result. Good luck, and please report back your progress.

It actually worked very quickly and all the skin retracted below the head now. I am now just stretching it more for it to stay there. Thank You for your advice!

You are normal for your age. Your foreskin is still developing. You can help it develop by stretching it.

When your penis is erect, gently pull your foreskin back against the head of the penis. As the head attempts to pass through the foreskin it will stretch the skin a little. Do this every day and in a few weeks or months your foreskin will widen and you will be able to retract your foreskin. Do NOT force retraction.

It works by tissue expansion. Stretching skin induces “mitosis” which is a word that means “division of cells”. New skin cells are formed and the skin expands. The increase in size is permanent. Be patient and let mitosis do its work.
