I have heard as well that warm olive oil is good for ear infections and for draining wax buildups from the ears. My doctor once recommended this to me for my ear pain and it really helped.
But in your case, I am afraid it won’t to what you are expecting. Have you been checking your condition with your doctor? And do you have total hear loss on one side?
If that is the case than you should definitely try to do something to prevent the same thing happen on your other side. Visit your GP and explain to him the whole situation and ask him to direct you to the ENT doctor. After examination you will probably have more information and possibilities.
