hi i have a lump in my stomach on my right side for over 6m

hey both my sisters have had lumps in there bellys and stuff they have all been sist,
my sister has had more than 5 and have all been removed because they were on her ovaries,
one was even bigger than a soft ball and even contained nails and hair.
my other sister still has 3 in her belly but there not serious so they dont have to be removed.

I have had a few lumps show up around my neck and a few on my back....all were found to be Sebaceous cysts. All were cut out and everything was fine. Mine were painless and were a lot larger below the skin(up to 1/2" or so across) however, on top they were somewhat smaller. I also have found one in my Right side just below my ribs. This lump is painless and shows no lumps on top of the skin. Although I dont know what it is, my theory is that it is nothing more than a Sebaceous cyst. I have had 2 cut out of my neck and one out of my back. This is an inpatient procedure, and within 1 hour I was on my way minus one white nasty looking cyst. If I were you I would go to the doctor and have it checked....they will probably do a sonogram on it, and should be able to tell if it is filled with liquid or solid. You will have a bloodtest to check your white blood cell count(if its high your body is fighting infection). The procedure does involve a needle stick for pain, but if the doctor uses a small gauge needle it wont hurt very much. My father in law would procrastinate about going to the doctor and the other day he found out that he has cancer pretty much all i his bones, and lungs. It may be a little late for treatments in his case, but not for yours..see the doc, worry about bills later. Good luck to you

I have bulge at the bottom of my stomach. I don't know what it is?
I did have a hernia, where my belly button popped out. Then later on I had an operation where they tucked in the belly button. But later on the the stomach lining started to bulge out. I was wondering why its occurring like that?

i had this stomach problem for over three years, but their wasnt any doctor that could help me, so they say.. noone knew wht was going on...i had the same exact lump and it would not go away i tried everything...til finally one day i layed in bed in massaged the area in which the bump/knot was and it seemed to be moving along. the pain stoped for a day...next day i was in serious pain i didnt go to the bathroom for a whole week, finally went to the doctor and they gave me somthing to clean out my system..it was like a gallon of lime water or sumthing it was nasty as hell.. but i was in serious pain {Crying} i couldnt even sit down /laydown without hurting...but with sum stroke of luck when i finally went all pain vanished lump was gone and all.....2months later im starting to feel this pain again i want to knw WTF is Going ON In There :-S ....

I am also suffering with similar problem and I think it is due to the HIV virus I have for 5 years now. I am not on any medication yet and I am keeping myself fit by eating healthy and doing this breathing yoga for last one year. It has changed my life and I would really request you all to try it for some days and see if you get any relief.

I get what everyone is talking about. I have had a lump on my right side for about 5 months now. It is located between my ribs and pelvis. It floats around and sometimes gets under my rib cage. It only hurts to the touch and when I push on the lump it slides around. I can only sleep on my right side bc its more comfurtable that way. I went to the er and they gave me an ultra sound and they cannot figure out what this is??????? Its a little wierd considering a lot of us have this and NO doctor can figure this out??????? They told me that I have to go to a surgeon to get it removed even though they have no clue what this lump is? I hate to freak myself out but this is not normal and Imsure most of you would agree.

i have a lump an inch below my belly button to the right and it is about 3 inches long...i've had it for awhile and i don't know what it is...my mom finally saw it today and she is freaking out and now i am...i just want to know if it is anything serious, it doesn't hurt so i've left it alone and i've had it for over 5 months...

Hi, i also have a lump on my lower abdomen and i have consulted my doctor. First he has suggested that i may be constapated, and it could be a lump forming from that. Then for a second check-up after being given the treatment of drinking mineral oil, that has a very nasty tastexp, and eating prumes which also do not have the best taste he checked the lump and another one i had found on the other side of my abdomen. I told him that it had a sharp pain if i budged it or touched it on accident. He felt it and told me that it was tender where he had felt and that it could be a cyst. That was about 7 months ago and it has not changed size or dissapeared, and still remains on the right side of my abdomen. Will it ever go away? I hope it does and i can understand the many that have posted on this page if they freak out because the first thing you think about is that it is cancer. Do not panic just yet, get it checked out and have tests for it. To reply to the other replies, mine also comes and goes and it is less visible when i am bloated from eating something. People suggest that it is an ovarian cyst, but males cannot get that . So i ask, is it really a cyst or something else?

My problem began with a yeast infection, then I noticed transiernt fever between 100-101 and  chills, headache and  pressure in my abdomen. I've always taken care of myself ..so this was a surprise ...my doc  thought it was an Urinarty tract infection so I was given Cipro which of course is deadly and cipro  really sent me over the edge and right to the ER ... . the nice doc ran all the tests an ultrasound, CAT scan, blood work all perfect, no infection, no  tumours no  cancer etc...  No kidney or gallstone stones , I felt happy about the news!!! I do have  lump on my right side about an inch 1/2 up from my belly button. I think it is my colon my friend who works in medical field thinks it is my  small intestines! Anyhow I've been referred to Gastroenterologist and while I wait for couple weeks I'm going to make my last ditch effort....I've studied all about health and healing for  many years (just an interest of mine)I'm going to do all I can do which is 100% natural fresh  juice made from my juicer I will do this for  two-three  weeks as well as have colonics or do enemas to  see if my body will dissolves this lump, I read several books on this and will give in try And Of course I'm going to see the medical doctor to see what they find...I know something isn't right I can feel it I just want a diagnosis of some sort and a cure!

well how do you know all this i mean it can lead to cancer u never know and yes i have to same thing and im the same thing but u dont get on the computer saying its no that well umm no it can be anything u not some doctor

 Kat- I am having the same exact thing happen to me. It all started in nov 2010 right after I got my tubes tide. I noticed a knot (ballish) above my belly button area which would move to the right a bit sometimes. I went to dr & they did ultrasound, found nothing. I recentlt went back to the dr because I am now having a pain of tightness & discomfort under my right rib stomache area. I still have the knot as well. The dr told me in oct 2011 I may just be constipated. I drank the stuff to help me clean out my system which I felt was not a problem but I did it anyways to at least try. Now 3 mo's later @ my follow up I explained to the dr Ya I feel a bit better but the knot is still there & my side is still the same. He is now referring me to a gastro specialist. I am also having a problem gaining weight I eat alot but I am not gaining weight I actually lost weight. When I eat I bloat upas if I were 4mo's pregnant? Sometimes I am hungry but I feel full. I don't know what is going on, I worry about this alot. Hopefully its just scar tissue or a ripped muscle. I am waiting on the call to schedule that appt & I will keep u posted. If u could keep us posted as well that would be great & maybe we can finally have an answer to all these things going on...... :) 

frig every time i get something unknown i look on the internet for hours and read the worst and it usually just goes away so i dont know ill try to figure this out

I have a knot or a lump, I don't know what I is, but I was just laying down on my back and when I pushed on the left side of my stomic I felt this knot or lump next to my bellybutton, I don't think I'm prego, a month ago I started the depo, and I use condoms as well, a bit worried, I also fell off a horse, could this be any way related or what could it be

Having lumps inthe 'belly' isnt the same as having a lump in the right side of the stomach. The 'belly' is where? There is stomach, which leads into the duodenum & that leads into the small & large colon, sometimes called bowel. There is no actual belly thing or a tummy thing which some people refer to.
Having a cyst on the ovaries isnt the same as having something in the stomach. They are differnt organs in the body. Ovarian cysts can have hair & nails etc in them. This is common.
