I had blood work done prior to being put on B/P meds. I was told my potassium level was 5.7. I am wondering if this has anything to do with my left hip pain. The pain seems to wrap around my whole hip bone. With a brace it seems to relieve the discomfort. but, the pain in my hip  comes on with any physical activity. I never knew my level was high. The pain was present awhile before the blood work was done. I have had test for female problems due to the pain. which none were found. Any ideas would be appreciated

Crazy, I get pain in my left hip too.  Usually associated with female stuff, but lately for no reason.  I also get really bad abdominal cramps from food high in potassium like broccoli, quioa, and bananas... It has gotten worse this lat month and I am very tired and dizzy at times.  I have't gone to the Dr yet.
