They're right, you don't need to worry about your weight. That's normal for your age! Your body is changing, and it's not your fault. It's part of growing up! Also, exercise! It doesn't have to be anything like push-ups or burpees; you can do things like walking your dog, playing sports, and pretty much any outdoor activity that gets you going!

No!!! Do NOT try starving yourself! It's super unhealthy. You're beautiful and just the way God made you. If you want to try and be healthier, get outside! Walk your dog, ride your bike, or try out for sports! Anything that gets you going! Even dancing is good for you! -Maddie

I'm 5'1 and 117 pounds I feel Super fat but I see that what helps is going to sleep with only a bra . U cant get used to ur body type and really start loving ur self . A thing to help u lose weight is writing down an eating plan an slowly decreasing ur food intake and do lots of excersise I would Reccomened running or walking on a treadmill or outside

Hey, Sammy, I know how you feel
I used to weigh shockingly 182 Pounds, and I was 11, I am 12 now and I am 132.6, Which is a good start. So I did the following:

Stopped eating sugary foods
Stopped eating Food with a lot of Calories, I.E Pizza. One slice of Pizza may have about 450 Calories each slice.
Exercised a hell lot more, If there is an after school program at your middle school, they offer sport programs there like Flag football.
Used the Scale a lot, which helped me because it helped me stay concentrated on my goal
This is all I did.

P.S
If parents are inactive, there is this program called PiYO which could help. Also if you cannot access PiYO, do Crunches, Stationary jogging, Or leg raises. Everyday. Also, If you are on Vaca from school, Vaca can really affect youu. Soooooo. Hope this helps!

hi i’m 12 and about 103 lbs and i feel so fat! i’m a dancer and work out a ton and it doesn’t go away. but 110 is not fat trust me! if your wondering why it doesn’t go away, it’s probably genes! your so fit and skinny i know it!

To everyone trying to lose weight, first you must know that patience is key. If you don’t have patience, you’ll only torture and hate yourself. Losing half a pound a day is a pretty good pace to go for. Here are some recommendations:
1. Get a regular sleep schedule-This means getting about 10 hours of sleep each day.
2. Eat healthier-This means getting more vitamins and nutrients into your diet.
3. Cut out sugar-High intake in sugar is a way to gain weight. Do what you need to do is cut out sugar.
4. Exercise-It can be anything ranging from push ups, playing soccer, playing at a playground, walking,etc. 1 hour of exercise each day. As long as you’re moving, you’re good!
5. DON’T STARVE-This May seem silly, but a common mistake people make is starving themselves. When you don’t eat for a long time, your body starts craving tastier, higher caloric foods.

Hi, I'm a 12 year old boy too. I am 5 foot and 1 inch and weigh 123lbs. I am really unhappy with my self, but I'm trying to lose weight by increasing my excercise, but it's not working! If anything, I'm gaining weight. I am afraid to tell my parents as I am shy about this. I am really chubby and I want help quickly! School starts in 2 weeks (I'm Australian) and I'm paranoid that people will make fun of my bulge. I'm turning 13, so I hope I'll grow into my weight, but that'll probably take at least a year. PLEASE HELP!!!!!
P.S my BMI is 25

Im 12 and weight about the same way as you, i have been bullied and left out also so you are not alone what im trying to do to try to get down my weight is walking 20 minutes a day and eating healthier with no snacks in between.
