is der any chance i can get pregnant considering da fact dat i used a spermicide and dat he withdrew as soon as he came?..

will the effect of ipill wich i had 5 days ago prevent an implantation or a possible pregnancy today?

how can i prevent implantation or even fertilisation?..will alcohol or exercise prevent it?

Hi Saronyx,

First off, no birth control is 100% effective.

The spermicide and I-pill should work to prevent pregnancy although the i-pill is more effective the sooner you take it.

The I-pill does not provide any "lasting" protection.  It's intended for emergencies, after the fact.

You should not use the I-pill, or any emergency contraceptive, more than once per cycle.  Having sex on day 20 though, it was likely just a bit late for the egg to be viable, so odds suggest you won't get pregnant.

I would suggest that you consider using daily birth control pills.  They are much more reliable than what you are doing now, about 98-99% effective is used as directed.

Remember too, you're next FEW periods can be early or late AND heavier or lighter than normal.  These are side effects of the I-pill.

Good luck, hope it helps.

Abstinence is certainly one way to prevent pregnancy.

Daily birth control pills are VERY safe. Do NOT look at one or two posts about someone having trouble conceiving and think that it could be you. There are OTHER reasons that they may not get pregnant easily - it doesn't have to be the contraceptives.

Condoms alone, if used properly, are very effective as well. But, you must put them on BEFORE any sexual contact occurs.

Good luck.
