I have several friends who are not doing so well economically but will become parents in some near future. How can low income families improve their parenting? I know that not every child can be raised in a rich environment, but still, what quality of life can be expected for those kids?
You said it yourself; there is no way that all kids can be in rich families. Actually, most of the kids in the world grow up in poor environment, in families with low or I better say extremely low incomes. And yet, they grow up into healthy, normal adults, and that says a lot about the quality of the parenting in those cases. So, sometimes, or should I say most of the times, parenting does not need the improvement.
